Cathy
Zielske
We think
Cathy is ONE great instructor, and we can't wait for
you to experience her expertise in 2010. We pulled Cathy aside
and asked her to respond to the following statements in just
ONE minute.
|
ONE time when I was little
I stole a slinky from the White
Front Store in Everett, Washington, and tried to tell my Mom I found
it in the ditch. The fact that it was shrink wrapped in the box
with a price tag still on it didn't exactly help my case.
ONE day I hope
to
be in much better physical shape than I'm in now. Or not.
ONE movie (or
book) I would never tire of watching (or reading) is
Silence
of the Lambs. I realize it's a rather gruesome tale, but it's like
a master's class in script writing, directing, acting and pacing.
It rivets me from the opening scene to the closing credits. Plus,
it's fun as all get out to quote from.
If I had to
create with ONE color for the rest of my life, I would pick
chartreuse-ish green.
ONE of my best
strategies for fueling my creativity is
music. Music invigorates
me.
If I could add
ONE hour to my day, I would
do yoga. Or sleep. It's so hard
to say, really.
ONE thing I
hope to gain from teaching this course
a better understanding
of how I can create solid classes that give the best and most useful
content to my students.
ONE thing you
really need to know about me
I really like cheese and potatoes,
together and separately.
ONE thing I
know for sure
love is the end all, be all. No two doubts
about it.
Cathy
p.s. We gave
Cathy a few more minutes to come up with ONE of her all time favorite
quotes.
"I'm
just as God made me, sir."
-spoken
by the hotel concierge in a scene from Spinal Tap, after the band's
manager had just called him a "twisted old prude". I use
this line a lot.
