Hi, my name is Monica and my screen name is MonicaMcNeill. I hail from Dallas, Texas and have been scrapbooking since 2002.

I took Library of Memories for the first time in 2008 and I'm excited to be a part of the LOM2010 because without my own Library of Memories I probably would not be a scrapper anymore. I first took the class because my philosophy of scrapbooking every picture, chronologically made it just another item on my list. I desperately needed a way to bring back the joy. It just wasn't fun anymore and I realized it was primarily due to the pressure of being caught up. I was finally ready to let go but needed help. Many of you are on a similar journey & I'm honored to hold your hand while you go through this experience.

As you participate in this session of LOM, one bit of advice I can offer you is to not compare your journey to that of your classmates. Everyone is at a different place with their pictures & scrapbooking. You will have your own unique experience. Enjoy this time focused on your memories & don't worry about crossing the imaginary finish line. This is a living, breathing, evolving system. Give it room to grow with you over the years.
