Everyday Treasures

Clothing tags, cupcake papers, and matchbooks are just a few things that May Flaum loves to utilize in her scrapbook pages - and in this class, you will learn why you should use them too! Not only do they create unique accents, but they also are easy on the budget and say something about the world we live in. Memorabilia, ephemera, whatever you want to call it - our lives are filled with tiny treasures. These bits of your world always make wonderful and personal additions to scrapbook pages. Join us as May inspires us with her innovative use of everyday treasures on her scrapbook pages!

May is a lifelong crafter, famous for saying "I'd better keep this - I might want it for my scrapbook someday." She has been teaching scrapbooking for more than three years now. In addition to being published in various magazines, May also designs for several manufacturers, including Fiskars, where she is one of four "Fiskateers."

Each week of Everyday Treasures will feature a new type of treasure, complete with a sample layout, detailed instructions, tips, challenges and suggestions for finding and storing these scrapworthy bits and pieces. During this workshop, you will be encouraged to open your eyes to the wonderful treasure trove in your own home and incorporate more of your world into your scrapbook pages.
