Get Great Photos with Any Camera

Plain and simple: do you want to take better photos?

And no, you're not going to be asked to shell out thousands of dollars on a new camera, flash, lens and tripod. All you need is a digital camera, your camera's manual and a memory card. Get ready to be amazed at what your current camera can dothat little point-and-shoot, 5-megapixel marvel drowning in neglect at the bottom of your bag.

In this four-week class, you'll learn the basics of photography and composition, and discover some fun and amazing photo tips that Elisha has amassed throughout her own learning adventures. Elisha's passion started a few years ago when she became an editor for Simple Scrapbooks Magazine and traveled the country as a teacher for Creating Keepsakes University (CKU). Her enthusiasm grew as she taught hundreds of people that even a simple Polaroid camera is an amazing tool for creatively freezing a moment in time. And now, several cameras later, she's ready to help instill a passion for photography in you.

Once you've completed this class, you'll look at (and through) your camera in a whole new way. You're not just taking a picture—you're creating a memory.

Elisha's class includes:

  • Reminder emails when the classroom is updated with new materials
  • Voice message available as streaming audio, downloadable MP3 file and transcript
  • Colorful instructional handouts with how-to details and beautiful photos
  • Pre-class assignment, available to you immediately upon registration for class
  • Welcome note from Elisha in the classroom
  • Private posting gallery to share your work and view the work of your classmates
  • Email access to Elisha
  • Message board to share your thoughts with your classmates

  • An opportunity in the final week for Elisha to critique one of your photos and provide valuable feedback
