Tena's Handmade Book of the Month Club
Fruit of the month, CD of the month, scrapbooking kit of the month — you name it, if it comes once a month and promises to surprise and delight, we love it! Big Picture Scrapbooking and Tena Sprenger are partnering to bring you not one, but two monthly clubs — with all the anticipation and encouragement you crave. Books of all kinds are an amazing source of knowledge and reading opens your mind to new ideas and inspiration. So it is books that will bring us together in 2008, in a FREE Big Picture Reading Room [learn more here] and an all-new Handmade Book of the Month workshop taught by Tena.
Tena Sprenger resides in Mesa, Arizona-a hotbed of scrapbooking talent. An avid reader and author of two books, she is known for her artistic expression and all-around spunk. Her creative passion is handmade books.
Says Tena, "I live for the creative process, and years of experience as a technique-based instructor have taught me how to guide and motivate students through the challenge of trying new things and acquiring new skills!"
Each month Tena will bring you a fresh set of project plans and bookmaking tips for a different approach to bookmaking. Some projects will focus on altering pre-made book products with readily available materials and others will teach you step-by-step everything you need to know to build, cover and bind your own books. Each handmade book is inspired in some way by the reading selection in our FREE Big Picture Reading Room. All twelve "chapters" of this year-long journey are designed to unleash your inner artist!
