iscrap
with Jenni
We don't
really like corporate-sounding resumes. In fact, we think
they fall short of demonstrating someone's qualifications
to teach. We do want you to know and feel comfortable with
the great instructors at Big Picture Scrapbooking, and that's
why we're providing you this iscrap moment

i was
a number cruncher. Yep. You heard me. Talk about trying to put a
square peg into a round hole. I always intended to be at an ad agency
but never imagined it would be as a Media Buyer.
i am
a wife to Jared, a mom to Noah and Christian and a movie quotations
expert.
i think
way too much. Really - there should be a cut off somewhere around
2 a.m. Unfortunately that seems to be when my mind decides to get
started!
i wonder
why your mind seems so much sharper at 2a.m.? Maybe it's God's lesson
about just being still. . .
i wish
I had a cup of Hot Chocolate right now (with whipped cream). And
maybe some of those tiny, crunchy marshmallows. . .
i save
anything with my grandmother's handwriting on it. She gave me a
table recently that belonged to my great-grandmother. When we picked
it up to put it in the car she discovered an index card taped to
the bottom of it. She immediately ripped it off (to which I promptly
stuck it back on). In her own hand she had written her intentions
for the table and dated it. Maybe that's why I am so insistent that
everyone leave their mark on their projects - no matter how much
it is disliked. Handwriting is the next best thing to touch.
i always
laugh when I'm nervous. And when I'm angry my ears turn red (not
cherry red, but fireball red).
i can't imagine
life without boys.
i believe
that people who don't scrapbook have the general notion that scrapbooking
is an overwhelming process and it keeps them from ever taking the
first step to try it.
i promise
to show that scrapbooking and the way you choose to do it is as
individual as the clothes you choose to put on each day. Using every
photo you ever took or scrapbooking in chronological order are only
options, not rules.
i love
good Ranch dressing. Not the sour stuff. I choose restaurants based
on this. If you want a list of the good ones, just ask!
i scrap
because it fulfills two major goals for me: it provides for me a
creative outlet with almost instant results and it allows me to
leave a legacy for my family in a very personal way.
