This is going to be an exciting year, and this class is going to be a fabulous experience. I am so excited and energized when I think about interacting with people all over the world, and people that share the same passion that I do…scrapbooking.

Let me tell you. I had an experience a couple of years ago when I contacted professional organizer, Aby Garvey, and she helped me really understand my workspace and my creative space, and the experience that I had was so positive and overwhelmingly good that I wanted to share it with everyone. So we worked on a book together and it's called The Organized & Inspired Scrapbooker.

Now the class that I will be instructing in this next year will be directly related to the book, and the book is part of the curriculum. I just want to tell you how excited I am for you to have a similar experience. What we are going to do in this class, is we are going to look at why you scrapbook, what your motivation is, what your inspiration is. We're going to understand your approach to scrapbooking and we're going to look at how you can set up a space that reflects that approach, and really helps you and supports that approach. The idea of becoming an organized and inspired scrapbooker is really not necessarily a new one, but it's a really cool thing that will help you to feel happy about your hobby, and I think some of us feel a little overwhelmed because of photos or because we aren't doing what we think we should be doing, and maybe we have so much stuff it's just so hard to deal with. So, really, you need to understand that you will get out of this class what you put into this class, because in the book along with each chapter of the first section there is a workbook. Your workbook is your action items. It's questions that are asked to you so you understand how it is you work, because everybody's space is going to be different and everybody works differently, and I think sometimes we think that because so-and-so does it some way and it looks cute, that we should be able to do it the same way, and that's now how it is. So, let me tell you, you're going to have to do some work. It's fun work, but you're going to have to do some work. You will get out of the class, like I said, what you put into it. We will spend 12 weeks really getting to know what inspiration is, why it's important, how to bring it into our space, regardless of size. It doesn't matter if it's a crop bag or if it's a huge room. We're going to some fun projects like an inspiration board. We're going to have some live events on a Saturday where we all are working together to really keep each other motivated, and I just really hope that you will join me. I'm really, really excited. Thank you.
